Who is This Man? Jesus: I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life
Sunday, July 21, 2019
Is following Jesus all about safety? No, but when the disciples felt distressed just before the crucifixion, Jesus gave them a way to cope. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life." He said this so that they (and we) could trust that we will be with God, that the end result will be better, and that God will be glorified.

Life is hard and then you die." Is that all there is? No. While Jesus understands the hardships we go through, He also knows that these are not the only realities of life. He also has victorious power that is at work in us both now and eternall

Who is This Man? Jesus: The Good Shepherd
Sunday, July 7, 2019
When Jesus said, "I am the Good Shepherd" our minds easily go to how He leads and provides for us. He does those things, but that isn't what He says makes Him so good. It is that He genuinely and deeply cares for us, that He knows us, and especially that He is willing to die for us.

Who is This Man? Jesus: The Gate
Sunday, June 30, 2019
Jesus made statements that for anyone else would be signs of delusional egotism. When He claims to be the gate or door, He is saying that He is the only entry point to a relationship with God. But this was a true, not insane, statement that was consistent with His life and ministry.

Who is This Man? Jesus: The Bread of Life
Sunday, June 23, 2019
Who are you? Usually we introduce ourselves about where we are from or our role in society. Jesus answered this question with several "I am" statements. The first is "I am the Bread of Life." This claim had nothing to do with physical food, but with eternal life. Though others were confused, Jesus could stay on His message because He understood Who He is and why He came.
