In a way, weddings are always a no-win situation. Neither the wedding day itself, nor the ensuing marriage relationship will ever completely meet our expectations. Weddings are a lot like life. Life is full of disappointments and crises and will never really fulfill our expectations because we are, each one of us, created for something more, something richer and deeper than what this life has to offer. Jesus addressed the wedding crisis and turned the water into wine to make a statement. He wants us to know that the best is yet to come.

Although the gay marriage issue has been relevant for quite awhile, I haven't personally spoken out much about it. This message seeks to explain why I haven't, what I believe about it and what I believe is ultimately most important for believers.
